The Brief

Magic Radio 100% Summer Experience at American Express Presents BST (British Summer Time) Festival needed an interactive piece of technology that fans would enjoy using and would promote their social media competition. The festival would drive huge numbers of traffic, so the technology used needed to be easy to use, robust in outdoor conditions, and run smoothly during immense, busy periods.

The Solution

For this campaign, we supplied our Human Holograms technology. This booth allowed fans to take a photo with their favourite radio presenters, Ronan Keating and Harriett Scott, and easily share their downloadable images on social media for their chance to win a competition. After previously working with Magic at Christmas, we knew their audience would love this technology to promote their #MagicLovesSummer campaign.

The Magic Radio 100% Summer Experience “our bright yellow truck is there to greet you with garden games galore and our special photo booth. Get a snap with our Ronan and Harriet Selfie Booth, and you’ll be entered into a draw to win a smart speaker. So pay us a visit if you’re watching someone at BST this summer or simply visiting for one of the Open House Days…and don’t forget to tag us in your selfie!”

The Human Holograms booth allowed fans to get closer to their favourite celebrity presenters without needing them to be there in person. It is a fun interactive piece of tech that can be used in multiple ways as part of multiple campaigns. It works incredibly well if you have brand ambassadors, animated characters, influencers, mascots, or celebrities to allow people to feel more involved and closer to your brand.
