Human Holograms @ Goodwood Festival of Speed

The Brief

Vodafone is the official event partner of Goodwood Festival of Speed 2021, which shows a sustainable new era of motorsport alongside Porsche at the Vodafone SPEED Hub. Together Vodafone and Porsche are creating the future of e-mobility and vehicle technology that looks after our planet and is accessible to everyone. With the high levels of technology at this event, we needed to create an experience that matched.

Guests pose for a photo with their favorite Formula E racing driver

The Solution

With this new wave of technology, Vodafone integrated a brand experience using Noonah Technology. We used Human Holograms to allow the public to ‘pose with the drivers’ and take a selfie with their favourite Porsche Formula E driver in a bespoke photo booth. These photos could be emailed directly to the user and they could then share on social media using the hashtag #TogetherWeCan.

This installation has been at Goodwood Festival of Speed, London Formula E, Berlin ePrix so far. This fan experience allows spectators to get closer to the action by meeting their favourite drivers in hologram form, therefore it gives them a unique experience they’ll never forget.
